2022 Project Pan Update #1
So we're back again to update you guys on how my Project Pan's going. If you didn't read my first post, I decided to focus on using up a few products from my collection. After a month, I have to say I did pretty well with some product, and terribly with some others.
Grab a cup of coffee or tea, and let's chat about it!
1. Jeffree Star x Morphe Set & Refresh Mist
This was the first item I knew I wanted to use up, and I finished it! To be honest there wasn't that much product left over, and so it was really easy to use it up. I forgot how much I hated the fragrance, it was just so artificially strong. I didn't really like the idea of putting it on my face, but I finally finished it!
2. Colourpop Supershock Highlighter Wisp
Now this is a product I consistently use, but there's still a little bit of product left along the edges. I'm determined to completely finish it soon though!
3. Benefit Hoola Bronzer
This is a product that I feel like I barely put a dent in it! I used it as a bronzer once or twice, and used it as an eyeshadow a few times. The pan in this is huge, and I feel like it's going to take me all year just to hit pan.
4. Colourpop Precision Brow Pencil
This is one product I didn't expect to finish so quickly, but after making an effort to use it everyday, I finished this product! I won't be repurchasing this product, mainly since the Glossier Brow Flick has been my go-to since trying it out (currently on my second repurchase of this).
5. Mini Milk Makeup Kush Mascara
Since this was a mini, I wasn't really expecting this product to last a long time. Not only was there not a lot of product in here, but it also dried out super quickly!
6. Wet N Wild Cream Bronzer Stick
I thought this product would have been a lot easier to use up, but not really! I have another cream bronzer I like so much more, so I haven't reached for this one much. I'm going to make a greater effort to finish this one up this month.
7. Milk Hydro Grip Primer
This is a product I've used up a few times in the past month, so I'm happy to be using it again. I actually forgot how good this product is on the oiler parts of my face. While I don't use it all over my face anymore, I am enjoying using up this primer again.
8. Victoria’s Secret Shimmer Lotion
I finally finished this one. I hated this product. Not only was it kinda drying (the opposite of what a lotion is supposed to be), but it had micro glitters, which I am also not a fan of. I'm so happy to be done with it now! 100% not repurchasing (it was a gift to be honest)
9. Laniege Water Sleeping Mask [Lavender]
I've used this product a lot more in the past month, but I still have a lot of the jar filled with product. I think I'll finish this product in a month or two though! Just got to keep at it.
10. Dominique Cosmetics Strawberry Lemonade Lipgloss
This is the product I made a lot of progress in. This was the only lip product I used this month (used side by side with a lip liner). I can now see through the tube in multiple places, and the wand isn't picking up as much product. I think I'll be done with it this month.
Bonus Empties:
- Bath & Body Works Into the Night 24 Hour Moisture Ultra Shea Body Cream (5oz) - I actually really enjoy the Ultra Shea line from Bath & Body Works. I have really dry skin, so sometimes I have trouble finding moisturizers that I feel actually hydrate my hands! Especially when they're from brands that put a lot of fragrance/alcohol in their products. I will eventually repurchase a mini like this again!
Replacement Products:
- IT Cosmetics Confidence in an Eye Cream - I really like this product, but I also have another eye cream that was gifted to me that I'm itching to finish!
- The Ordinary. "Buffet" - I got a little crazy with the skincare last year, and so now I have a lot of skincare to try out! This is a great affordable product, but again, I have another serum I want to try out. I'm actually almost done with it, but I have to make sure I focus on using and finishing this one up.
Well I got to say, one month in, and I'm doing really good! I knew that the creams and skincare products were going to be easier to finish compared to some of the powder products I have added on the list. I'm still determined to finish these up (or actually just hit pan). Have any of you started a project pan this year? Or maybe you're focusing on using up one product this month?
As always, thank you for reading! Sending you love, strength, and positivity xx
Nice job on that Colourpop Super shock! It's so satisfying to see that much pan in a product!
My milk makeup mascara also dried up really quickly, and it started flaking towards the end and gave me panda eyes. Not a fan, but I DO love their Hydro grip primer. I've got to pick it up again for the Summer.
I'm planning on picking up TO's buffet serum once I finish my peptide serum from Good Molecules. I remember you shared that one in a favouites video and I've been meaning to try ever since. I'm not sure if I'll get the original or the one with copper peptides added, It sounds a lot like the Biossance rapid plumping serum but without the price tag!
Good luck finishing the rest of these products!
I know the point of a project pan is to just hit pan, but I'm honestly finally almost done with that supershock highlighter! I need to make another update, because I've been doing pretty well panning some products. I even have panned some other products I don't have on my list. Thanks so much for reading and commenting 🙂 x
It looks like you are doing a great job! I am trying to do the same with my skincare and all my lotions etc! Thank you for sharing your journey! Good luck with using up more products in April.

Thanks! I'm surprised how much product I use when I actually concentrate on using them up. I'm excited to see my progress in April. Thanks so much for reading and commenting 🙂 x
