Dyed and Gone by Beth Yarnall - 3 Stars

So a few months ago I saw this book in Barnes and Noble. I was specifically looking for a mystery, and for some reason this one caught my eye. I have to say that this book if you buy it at full price it's $14.99 for a paperback version, which is kind of expensive when you buy as many books as I do. I decided to buy this book on amazon for $12.10, which is still a little over my budget for books, but I guess that's besides the point.

This book was the first book in the Azalea March series, and I have to say it was a good way to introduce the series. This book is about a girl who owns a hair salon with her best friend. When they go to Las Vegas for a hair convention, one of biggest celebrities in the hair industry is found murdered. This doesn't directly affect Azalea until her best friend is being suspected in being the murderer. Throughout the book she goes around trying to put together what happened in order to prove her best friend's innocence.

The story ended extremely surprising. I would have never guessed who was the murderer until the last few chapters. I thought this book was going to be a mystery, I didn't expect there to be some romance. This book would be considered a Mystery/Romance Novel. It didn't make the story worse, but like i said I wasn't completely expecting it when I first started reading it. I would recommend this book to any one who likes these types of combination genres and don't mind the price of the book.
