Why did I start blogging?
As I'm reaching my 6th month of blogging, I wanted everyone to know why I started blogging.
Almost a whole ago back I hit a new low, even for me. I didn't know what to do and had no motivation to do anything purposeful.
So why did I start blogging?
I was talking to a trusted friend of mine, and told her exactly how I felt in my life. She told me to do something that would motivate me to stay productive. I needed to do something that was gonna help me, keep me busy, and most importantly, I would love. I thought for a while about what I could do, and eventually blogging came to mind. It was something I always wanted to do, but never took the risk to actually start one.
Now you may be wondering, what was I talking about. What risk is there in starting a blog? For me, blogging is very personal. I was afraid of people knowing my innermost thoughts. I was afraid my thoughts weren't good enough. That I wasn't good enough.
I decided to say fuck it, and do it anyways. All I can say is that I am so happy I did. I didn't expect to stay so consistent with it, but I honestly love it.
I have been fortunate enough to meet so many amazing people. I've learned so much about myself in this period of time, and I am going to continue to do so. If it wasn't for my friend, I may not be here today sharing my thoughts on stuff with all of you. I am so happy that she pushed me to create one.
Here I'm going to post some of my favorite posts written:
I hoped you guys enjoyed learning a bit more about me. Why did you guys start blogging? Have a wonderful day/night. Sending positive vibes to all!

I can totally relate. When I started out, even I felt the need to keep my guard up but blogging has not only boosted my confidence but also taught me so much when it comes to dealing with life in general. You are doing amazingly well. ❤️
Thank you so much for the kind words Jadirah, you are such an inspiration to all bloggers, and I am so glad to have you as a friend to help me along the journey xxx
I'm always worried about what others might think but I blog anyways. Only a few of my friends know that I have one and they don't even know the URL. Still, It's nice to be free in your own space. 🙂

I'm glad you're blogging and not letting your fear and worries stop you! I feel the exact same way, my blog is my own space where I can be myself and talk about what I want. Thank you so much for reading and for telling me about your experience with blogging xxx
I love this post Melina; the judgement of other people was also a reason I was hesitating to start my blog but as we both know it was so worth doing. Your blog is lovely and your writing style is great wise idea to go with it! I have enjoyed getting to know you over the months you are one my best blogging pals hehe!
Hope your day is going well
