2018 Bullet Journal Set Up.

Hello everyone! I'm so happy to see you're back, or if you're new, hi I'm melina.  Today I'm going to talk about my new bullet journal. I'm a little sad to stop using my old one, because it had so many great memories, and it ended up being such a fun thing to do, but I guess this one will soon have as much emotional importance as the other one.

I'm going to show you the few pages that I created for my new bullet journal. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, leave a comment down below or hit me up on twitter! I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

This bullet journal was kind of nice because I was able to create my bullet journal according to what worked for me and what didn't. There were certain things that I had on my last bullet journal that I honestly didn't really use. This time around, it was pretty easy to create my first few spreads.

This year I got a another dotted notebook from Muji, I think it worked really well for me last year, and I wasn't really down to spend over $20 on one of the Leuchtturm 1917. I accidentally bought a smaller size, which I thought was going to bother me loads, but I ended up growing into it.

Just like last year, my notepad has a little pocket, which I use for holding some of my current tools. For now I have a white pen (for covering up mistakes) and a brown pen. I also have a mini pad of sticky notes!

On the cover of my journal, I have a whole bunch of motivational quotes.  I even added a few gold stars! Throughout the year I'll continue to add some extra things to fill up the blank space.

Once you open the notebook, the first thing you see is my index. As you can see, I don't have that much filled out yet, but that'll definitely change as time progresses.

Following the index, I created a social media tracker. I kept it pretty simple, and wrote some motivational words on the bottom. I like this page so much better than the one I created last year!

On these pages I put a calendar of the year and on the right side I made a list of all the important birthdays!

I then made a future log, just in case I need to plan things months ahead of the month that I'm  currently on. Last year, I didn't make one of these, and I know it would of came in handy. I kept it super simple yet functional.

Finally, I created a list of affirmations for the year of 2018. Whenever I'm starting to doubt myself, I realize that I am a beautiful person on the inside and out and deserve nothing but the best. I repeat these to myself out loud, and they make me believe in myself.

So I hope you guys enjoyed reading about my new bullet journal! Maybe it'll give you guys some ideas! What did you put in your bullet journal? I hope you guys have a wonderful day/night. Sending you all love, strength, and positive vibes!

-Melina xx

PS: Sorry for the crazy changes in picture lighting. I'm getting used to editing pictures, since that was something I said I was going to work on this year. I promise you'll eventually see improvement!

So cute! I definitely want to put more motivational quotes in mine. I'm all about the inspiration and for sure need it. Right now it's filled with ideas for my blog and shop - no order really. It kind of really reflects how my mind looks right now, haha! Can't wait to see more peaks into your journal!

I love taking a peek at other peoples journals and seeing their style! I love how motivational yours is and I can totally see how yours has become really personal to you. Mine is so list-based and pretty personality in comparison!

I definitely need it to be motivational for me! I lose motivation so quickly, especially during the winter. Thanks so much for reading Sally xxx

I don't have a bullet journal anymore. I started it but it's not for me at all! I don't like the lettu style, but with ringbinding, it would be intersting to try because I would have my week open all the time. Just like this notebook has! But I pretty much had the same things inside what you have 🙂

You definitely should try the ring binding. I originally bought this notebook for two reasons. One, because it has a pocket in the front to hold a few items, and secondly is because it has rings. While I'm curious to see how much I would like a regular binded notebook, I know I would probably miss the ring binding. Thanks for reading and commenting Heidi xxx

You would get a notebook with my writing in it?! No way!

Yes! Obviously not where you've put like what you are doing each day and stuff because mine would be different lol. But I don't like the idea of designing my own bullet journal because I'm not neat.
And your one looks so neat!
