So I did a Thing.
If you guys didn't notice, I spend a lot of this weekend revamping my site. The blog you all knew and loved as Ivefoundwaldo is now under my own name! You can now find me at melinaelisa.com!
I've been hinting at it for a few months on Twitter, and I've given it a lot of thought, and decided it's time. I've been getting a lot of traction on my blog recently, and I felt like if there was a time to do it, it should be now.
I already know what to expect in terms of less views. Everyone has to get used to the changes, including myself.
Some of you may be wondering why I made the change. When I first started my blog, I didn't know where I was going to take it. I thought that I would write about books, makeup, and unrelated other things. As I continued to use my blog, I started to write about more personal and serious topics.
To me, when I looked at my old URL/blog name, it just didn't feel like the name of a blog who would attempt to tackle serious issues. Therefore, from now on I will be known by my own name. No matter where I take my blog, it's going to be me!
I know it's going to be a bit of an adjustment, but thank you for all the love and support I got from you guys on social media. I feel like this is such a huge step in the right direction, and I'm beyond excited.

I love your new name change. I think having your name in your blog link really helps people remember you and looks professional. I had the exact same feelings when my blog was called lauzies lifestyle. I remember a person pronouncing it as lousy lifestyle!
Don't worry about the views if they go down because they will shoot back up again. You have an amazing blog and this new name change is a fresh focus. xxx
I didn't know how to pronounce your old name either though! I was the worst, I think I pronounced it like that. Surprisingly, my views didn't go down much, because I still own my old URL and I have it that no matter which one you write, they both take you to melinaelisa.com 🙂 x

An adorable change ....A know it is quite a challenge to shift from one name to other as people start recognising you ..But now people will know your blog as you ..So now you are a brand ..❤️
It’s kind of weird to think about it that way, but you’re so right! My name is my brand. Wow, imagine the whole world knowing me by my name because of my blog name?
Yes ...Sounds great ..Though I don't have my blog on my name ..But it's kinda fine because maybe sometime later I will find the new form ...

Right now it's the NChanting whispers , but if any day I will think to bring my name forward then I have to put some creativity into it ...My name is Sakshi so some new change to it ..Which should be unique and little quirky ...Right now I don't have any idea ..
The good thing is that there is never a right or wrong time to change your name. As long as the name feels like a connection to you, you won't be steered in the wrong direction. Good luck love ! xx
