In a bit of a Funk

While my funk is starting to pass, I can honestly say that the election has taken a toll on my mental health. I was so hopeful that the election wasn't going to turn out the way it did. I still remember the night of the election when I saw that Trump was getting all these electoral votes from all of these states. My heart sank deeper and deeper. The country has been in a bit of chaos since. I honestly don't understand how a man that supposedly goes against what America believes in could represent and lead our country. There have been protests going on all around me, and it's crazy, for a lack of a better word. I've never seen the country so divided. I'm honestly a little scared for minority groups. I'm hoping for the best. We'll see what happens...
