5 Posts I’ve Been Lovin’ Recently | Episode 11
Hey guys, how are you doing? Today, I'm going to start off the year right, and share with you some of my favorite posts in the last two months! I've read so so many blog posts, and so as always it's a little difficult to just choose a few, but let's get right into it!
My Gal Pals Are Great – Here’s Why
Saying Goodbye to Childhood Friendships
Charlotte is another great blogger, and in this post she talks about saying goodbye to childhood friends. When we were younger, we were all naive enough to think that the friends we had at that point, were going to be the friends we've had forever.
At the same time, we all know now that it's not always the case. In the post, Charlotte speaks very whimsically about the topic. It's a deep and personal post, and it's written in such a beautiful way. On top of that, it ends in a positive way! I definitely recommend checking out her blog and reading this post, which you can click here to read.
7 Ways Alexa Makes Our Lives Easier
Now I just realized that two of these posts had something to do with friendship, so I'm going to take this to the complete opposite side of the spectrum, and talk a little about Alexa. No, I'm not talking about an actual person, we're talking about the Amazon's little robot slave called Alexa.
I read this post, and I was actually super impressed with the things that the Alexa had the capability to do! I thought the commands you can give her were super simple, so I was more than surprised when I found out that wasn't the case. It was a super interesting read, so I really recommend giving it a read, which you can do so here!
about the latest school shooting
This post was written right after the shooting in Florida happened. I was upset, I was outraged, I felt helpless, I had so many feelings, and Taylor's post on this topic was something that really stood out for me. There were so many people creating tweets, the kids from the shooting were giving speeches, and while the kid's speeches put me to tears, I thoroughly enjoyed reading Taylor's post.
In America, we have come to a point of living, where mass shootings have become the norm. As terrible as it is to say, it's the truth.
Taylor grew up in a household with guns, so it was super interesting to see her perspective on the issue. This problem has not been solved, and just because time has passed, does not mean that we should just stop talking about it. I really recommend reading this post, it's amazingly written. You can click here to do so.

I love posts like this! It gives me the opportunity to check out some really great bloggers that I may not have come across naturally. I created a post of my favorite blogs too. I'm actually going to check out all your recommendations and I just noticed that you made this a series on your blog. Looks like I know what I'll be doing for the next 30 minutes LOL. Thanks for sharing Melina!

I feel the same way! there is so much talent, and I just want to share it with my readers! I hope you find some amazing people through the series! Thank you for reading and commenting 🙂 xxx
I love when you put these posts together. Sometimes I think it's really difficult to come across new bloggers (despite there being so many), and it's nice to see what's out there and what people are focusing on. I read Chloe's post because I have some flaky friends, and wanted to get the other perspective. xx
I feel the same exact way! I wish my favorite bloggers would talk about their favorite bloggers, so I could find ones that I genuinely enjoy, will engage with, and build a relationship with! While there are so many bloggers out there, and lots of them are super talented in what they do, there are still some that I prefer to read over others!
I hope you enjoy reading them 🙂 xx
These all sound like great posts from some of your fave bloggers... will definitely have to go and check them all out!
