Fridaze 005

I know I know, I said I was going to post on Tuesday, but I got a little ahead of myself. I had a super busy weekend, and even though I had the creative juices flowing, I honestly didn't have any time this week.

Not only has it been an extremely busy work week, but even in my personal life, it's been pretty busy!

My Uncle Came to Visit

It's been at least 3 years since I've seen my uncle, but since he got furloughed and got vaccinated a few months back, it was the perfect opportunity for him to come and visit for a bit! He's been here since last Friday, and will probably be staying with us for at least a month.

Emo Night

Now this was definitely the highlight of the past week! Last Friday, I went to Emo night with my best friend, Jamie, and her boyfriend. I finally had the chance to meet her boyfriend during 4th of July! While I finally met him, I didn't really have the chance to have lots of conversations, so it was nice to get to know him even more.

Even though I have just met him, the vibe he gives off and his overall personality is super great, so I 100% approve of Jamie's boyfriend. I can't wait to do even more cool things with the both of them!

Now for Emo Night, we drove into the city, got some really good burgers at Five Napkin Burger, and ended up at Irving Plaza for the first Emo Night since Covid! I had never had the chance to go before, so I was super excited.

I searched all over my closet for an outfit appropriate for the event, and I would say that High School me would be so proud. It was a great night, full of nostalgia! They played really good music, and I had the best time.

I was so excited that Joe, Jamie's boyfriend, invited me to their plans!

Starting Renovations on our Bathroom

The final cool thing that's been happening this week is the fact that we started renovated our main bathroom in our house! They've demo-ed everything fairly quickly, and have been placing the tile along the walls and floors over the past few days. I'm already loving how it's coming out, so I can't wait to see the final product!

I'm really looking forward to taking a nice long bubble bath when the project's done.
