Trying to get back into the groove with writing bi-weekly! All while juggling a project I've been working on for a little while now.

Now onto to speaking about my week.

Met my sister's boyfriend's family

After of my sister dating her boyfriend for the past 4 years, they finally thought it was the time for the families to meet each other! We met his mom, sister, and his 2 nieces. I really got along really well with his sister and nieces.

I didn't completely know what to expect, but I think it went pretty well overall!

Launch of OffBeat Collab

I mentioned about a project I've been working on for a bit, and I finally feel comfortable enough to talk about it, now that's it's been launched for two weeks now! I created a site where creatives can submit their work, and it can be showcased on there. It's called Offbeat Collab, and it's something that I'm super proud of. I know that it's definitely early days, but a lot of extremely talented writer's have submitted their work! Jamila's Birthday & Pier 13

Me & Jamila were friends back in high school, but drifted away once we graduated. One of my best friends, Jill, had gotten really close to Jamila over the past year, and so I was invited to her birthday celebration!

We went to a really delicious Mediterranean restaurant, and then unexpected ended up in Pier 13 in Hoboken! I hadn't had the chance to go this year, so I'm glad we wound up there. The vibes were so good, and it really seemed like Jamila had a great birthday!

Driving back down to South Carolina

As you're reading this right now, I'm actually on my way to visit my brother for the next week! I'm super excited. Even though it hasn't been that long since we visited (only 7 months), I know we'll be able to do more since it's Summer and more things are open.

I don't entirely know what I'm going to do while I'm there, but I know that I brought enough clothes for every occasion.

Caught up with the bestie, Erika

The last cool thing that happened was the fact that I had the chance to hang out and catch up with my close friend, Erika! While we saw each other about two weeks prior for Liana's birthday, it's still always nice to spend time without other people.

We ended up going to Chili's for some dinner and margs! Definitely a good time, and can't wait til we're reunited.

Not only has my week gone by extremely quickly, but not much has happened in terms of good television/movies! I haven't even really played any games recently.
