Fridaze 022

I'm going to start by saying that I didn't take that many pictures. It was a super busy week, and the last thing on my mind was pulling out my phone to take some pictures #sorrynotsorry.

Well it's Friday again, and I have a lot to share, so grab a cup of coffee or tea, and let's get into my Fridaze!

My Dad Leaves to Dominican Republic, the passing of my Great Grandpa

Right at the start of my week, I got the news that my great grandpa passed away. While he had a stroke last year, and wasn't doing very well, the news was still pretty unexpected.

Because of this my dad, my grandpa, and lots of other family members rushed to buy tickets to Dominican Republic. Because of the snow storm at the end of last week, the prices of the plane tickets were ridiculous! Unfortunately when an emergency happens, you have to buy the tickets at any price.

Helping My Sister Move Out

My sister officially moved out! We spend 3 days last week moving her & her boyfriends things into their new place. We also went to Ikea later on in the week to help buy some things they were missing.

Her new apartment is super cute, and I could not be happier for them both.

Third Hockey Game of the Season

Last week I went to two hockey games, and this week I went to a third! I ended up going this week with Gamer J, and we had a great time. Even though the Devil's got completely destroyed (1-7), it was still fun.

Meeting some of Gamer J's Family

This was the most anxiety inducing thing that happened. J has been trying to get me to go meet some of his family for the past few weeks. I finally accepted, and I'm telling you I was a wreck.

I was increasingly more nervous/anxious as I got closer to the day. I was supposed to meet his mom, his niece, and two of his nephews. While I know they're supposed to be super nice, but I just was super nervous. I wanted them to like me, and was super worried that they wouldn't.

I really care about J, and the idea of people really important to him not liking me, made me feel more anxious than I have in a long time. I actually cried a little bit before going into the restaurant. I was honestly so embarrassed!

Even though my anxiety didn't go away during dinner, I still think it went okay. It seems like they all seemed to like me, which was a relief!

Catch up with Erika

While I saw Erika when I was at the bridal shower, there's just something about sitting down one and one and really chatting. We went to one of my favorite restaurants, and had such a great time. We stayed at the restaurant for about an hour and a half. Since we weren't done catching up, we literally sat in the car for another hour or so!

I always have a great time when we're together, and this time was no different.

More Sleepovers

I've been spending at least one night a week sleeping over J's house. This is unique, because I usually never spend this much sleeping over a boyfriend's house. I'm a really light sleeper, and always slept best in my own bed.

I don't know what it is, but I sleep amazingly at J's. Not only that, but I actually miss sleeping over when I'm in my own bed now, which is a unique feeling I've never felt before!

I just miss chatting and having a lil' cuddle right before falling asleep. Whenever I don't sleepover, we usually chat for a bit on the phone before going to sleep.
