Fridaze 077
Happy Friday and Happy Fridaze! It's honestly been a pretty uneventful two weeks, but let's chat about it anyway!
Hosting for Love Island US Reunion
For the first time ever I had some of my girlfriends over to watch some reality TV. I used to have people over all the time, when I used to live at my parent's house. Not only have I not really been watching as much reality TV, but a lot of my friends have fallen off as well!
So when a group of my friends were watching Love Island, I knew I wanted to have some of them over. I bought some wine, dip, snacks, and my friend brought some cupcakes! It was super fun to have them over, and just gossip about our opinions of the show was it's gone on.
I will definitely host again in the future!
A bit of a reading slump
This was definitely a super slow reading month. The books I have read are luckily all paperbacks I own, so it was nice to read some of my physical TBR. I don't know if it's because I've been reading Dune, which is super long, but I have not read that many books. I've also been watching a bit more tv this month, and focusing on my Youtube Channel, so I've had less time to read!
I'm hoping that changes soon, because I'm looking forward to the fall reads (fantasy, thrillers, fall romances)!
feeling unmotivated
I don't know what's been going on these past two weeks, but I've been feeling extremely unmotivated. I am extremely low energy, and just get home from working feeling super fatigued. I'm hoping it passes, because I want to continue to make lots of progress on my fitness journey.
having a great low-spend month
This week I crunched a lot of the numbers, and I ended up having a pretty low-spend month! I'm pretty happy about that, because I spent so much money in June & July. I save as much as I've wanted to this summer, so I'm happy to be able to hop back into a better financially responsible month!
Hershey Park
There are a few amusement parks close to where I love. Six Flags in southern Jersey, Dorney Park in Pennsylvania, and Hershey Park! I had never been to Hershey Park, but J's birthday was last week, and in celebration he wanted to go to the amusement park! So me, J, and one of his best friends went. It was so much fun, and I can't wait to go back!

How's the past two weeks been for you? I would love to know! What are you reading, what have you all been up to? Hope you have a great weekend xx
I totally get the reading slump—sometimes life just gets in the way of the TBR piles. And I'm sure your motivation will come back in no time; we all hit those low-energy patches :') Congrats on the low-spend month though—it's always a win when you can save a bit! xx

I know! I was pretty proud of myself. I have definitely bounced back since then and have read loads. Thanks for reading and commenting 🙂 x
I'm sorry to hear you've been in a reading slump and feeling unmotivated. I hope it passes too for you.
I'm also looking forward to fall reads and I'm already reading a thriller (The Woman in the Window) plus a romance/paranormal set in October (A Ghost of a Chance). That's nice you went to Hershey Park! I'm so looking forward to the next part of Emily in Paris!!
I finally watched all of Emily in Paris this past week, how did you like it?
I’m looking forward to hosting my girls when I move! For so long, they’ve hosted me, but I can’t wait to have girlie kickbacks and snack on food together while crafting and watching semi-trash TV. It’s been so much fun watching your YouTube videos and putting a voice to your words!
Love that you got your friends together for a watching party, I've never done anything like that before, but it sounds like so much fun! I'm also halfway through Love Island US, as it's not long started airing in the UK and it's so good! Also I hope you're able to find some motivation, even though it's totally normally to have slumps. It sounds like you've still managed to have a great two weeks xx

I've also been in a bit of a reading slump, it took me 3 weeks to finish 2 books that I started the first week of August. I'm going to start reading some spooky books, hopefully, that will help my reading as those are some of my favorite genres and get me excited for the spooky autumn season!
I'm with you on feeling unmotivated. I'm trying to be kind to myself and telling myself that this low-energy mood will eventually pass which helps. ♥
