POST I’M LOVIN’ | #21
Hey I'm back again! While I skipped doing a favorite posts in December, I knew I wanted to bring this back in 2020. I've been doing these posts almost since the beginning, and I just love sharing posts with you guys! It's also a cool way to see what kinds of posts interested me in the past.
So enough chit chat, time to get into the actual post!
TURNING 30! ACHIEVEMENTS, REFLECTIONS & LESSONS LEARNED by Lydia Elise Millen
I don't know why I've always taken so much pleasure in reading posts that talk about what people have learned in their lives. I love Lydia, and so was extra interested in what she had to say. Low and behold, she pops out words of wisdom. Someone who has her life so put together, is so successful, and yet? Comes off as so humble.
If you're lacking motivation or just need some advice. This. This is the post to read.
Is Instagram killing blogs? by Forever Amber
I've probably already linked you to so many of these types of posts, and yet, I never get tired of it. As someone who loves blogging more than anything in the world, I always find these posts interesting.
Now don't be caught off guard by the title, she definitely goes onto say why she actually doesn't feel like Instagram will every kill off blogs. It's an interesting post, and one I agree with 1000%. Definitely another great post to read!
How To Make The Most Out Of A Professional Photoshoot by The Kitty Luxe
It's so funny, because when I originally read this post, I never thought that I was going to start my own brand and learn from this post! I actually reread this post, and it helped loads in terms of doing photo shoots for our brand!
In this post, Holly, talks about the initial thoughts that go through our heads when we're in front of the camera. Then she continues to talk about how to get around all those nerve wrecking thoughts and feel confident in front of the camera! If you're someone who needs help feeling comfortable when taking pictures, I recommend checking out this post!
THE 5 MOST IMPORTANT LESSONS I’VE LEARNED IN THERAPY (SO FAR) by Advice from a Twenty Something
As someone who has gone to therapy, I feel like posts are these are so great. Not only does it normalize therapy, but it reminds me of some of the lessons I also personally learned.
I would go so far to say that this might be one of my favorite posts ever. Whether you just need a reminder to be nicer to yourself, or you're having some dark inner battle and need some positive advice. If you only read one of these posts, it should definitely be this one!
This Is How You Lead Your Best Life After Losing Him by Thought Catalog
I read this when I was going through a bad breakup. I thought that this person was going to be in my life for a while. I had made plans with them, and when we broke up, I felt like this was all ripped from me.
This post definitely helped clear my head. It made me realize that if we were really meant to be together, we wouldn't have broken up. It's something that even to this day I continue to say when a relationship of any kind doesn't work out.
Another great post to read!
STOP TELLING WOMEN THEY SHOULDN’T GET INTO BLOGGING FOR THE MONEY by the little plum
As always, Chloe always brings fun and witty conversation to any topic she writes about. In this post she talks about blogging. She rarely does that, because she doesn't really like making her followers who aren't bloggers to read about blogging.
In this post she goes down and dirty, and talks about the specifics of blogging. She goes into how much she makes from blogging, how much work goes into what she does, and defends people who want to go into blogging for money.
It's such an interesting post, and definitely recommend checking it out!
I know I did more than the usual 3-4 posts! I wanted to make up for the fact I missed December's post.
if you missed out on the other posts of the series you can catch up here:
