Posts I'm Lovin' | 38

Even though I was away for two months, I've still read a lot of really good posts! I don't really want to chat too too much (I promise to do a catch up post soon), so here are some posts I've really enjoyed in the past few months. Great a cup of tea or coffee and let's chat.

Turning 30 by Alice Catherine

There's something about posts written by people around my age. Whether they're a few years younger or older, it's still really easy to relate to them. I'm already a huge fan of Alice's writing, but this post really hit home. When I originally read this post, I had just turned 28, and for whatever reason it was a semi-difficult age to turn.

It's nice to read about how other people feel about aging, especially as a woman. It's refreshing to read about someone who's in the same age range as me. As someone turning 29 in a few months, it's strange. I still wonder how did I get here? How has time flown so quickly?

Summer by Audrey Leighton

The weather has been starting to warm up for us. The days are lasting longer. I spent yesterday just playing with my puppy outside for over an hour. I honestly can't wait for Summer. I know these next few months are going to be super busy, so I know it'll be here soon.

In this post Audrey talks about the "This has to be the best summer ever" feeling. There's this feeling of urgency that we don't feel about other seasons. Of course this post is only relatable to people who experience the four traditional seasons. As someone who really struggles with SAD, it's true. I'm mostly the best version of myself in the Summer. I have extra energy to working out, I take advantage of the weather by either spending a lot of time outdoors, or always having windows open and letting that Summer breeze in. This is a great post, definitely check it out!

My Latest Beauty Empties and Why I keep Repurchasing Them by What Olivia Did

I know I tend to only post thought posts on here, because those are the ones that tend to hit home with me. I've been getting back into beauty, and even though I'm not purchasing as much, I've been doing a project pan and only repurchasing what I really need!

This post was nice, because I really want to know what people love to keep repurchasing them. I'm a lot less into consumerism, and much more into buying products that I love and that will either last me a long time (when speaking about clothing, bags, household items) or a high quality product that I'll want to repurchase over and over again. I'm still on the hunt for the "perfect skincare routine". I'm leaning towards buying Korean skincare, since I feel like they're much more likely to put good ingredients in their products verses American skincare.

7 Things I Learned From My Twenties by Daisy Butter

Another post about age. Can you tell that it's something that really resonates with me? I love almost anything Michelle writes about, and this post is no different. As I lead up to my final 20th year, I'm making sure that I appreciate it and make the most of it.

Another list of great posts to check out! I'm sorry for disappearing and popping in with a favorites post, but we'll talk soon (hopefully...) xx

So lovely to read a new post from you Melina! And thanks for including one of my blog posts here – what a surprise! I found myself reading lots of age-related content as my twenties were ending. Thankfully, turning 30 was incredible for me (and for all of my friends!) so I didn’t need to worry at all! x
