San Diego, California 2017 Pt. 2
Today I'm going to tell you guys the rest of what happened while I was in California! Let's just get straight into it.
Saturday
Diana is in the Navy, and she wanted to show us the boat she worked on and what she did while she was on base. We got some bagels to bring on base for all of us and Emily. After showing us her boat, we decided to have a mini photo shoot. We also got to play some Cards Against Humanity!
After leaving the base, we went through a super life changing moment. Wait for it...insert the drum roll! We tried In-and-Out Burger! I was super nervous that it wasn't going to live up to the type, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The first time I went there, I got the plain combo meal. It was a cheeseburger with some fries. I actually really liked it. It was extremely inexpensive compared to a lot of fast food places.
After going to eat, we decided to go to the mall to get some workout clothes, cause we were planning on hiking the following day. After the mall we went to Diana's house and got all dolled up to go to downtown San Diego. I decided to wear my plum long sleeved top, a mini skirt, and my go-to booties. If you guys follow me on Instagram, you probably have already seen this picture!
Once we got to the bar, Diana parted to meet with a friend, so me and Erika chilled together. The one thing that I did notice about this bar was how outdated the music was. This was music I was listening to when I was in middle school, so about 2006-2008-ish. I feel that because I live so close to New York City, the clubs and bars usually have up to date or new music.
While in the bar, we met Will! He was so wonderful, funny, and fun. We were originally planning on bar hopping, but we were having such a great time with him that we decided to stay there the whole night!
Sunday
This was our last day in California, and we definitely made the best of it. We started our day with a hike. The place was beautiful. It was right next to the beach. The weather was amazing. It was honestly so perfect. I apologize now for all the pictures. I really couldn't help myself!
After this we did have In-N-Out one more time! I decided to try the animal styled burger, which was even better than the cheeseburger. I really recommend to choose that one if you go!
We all chilled at Diana's house until it was time for us to go to the airport. I honestly didn't want to leave. I got so used to being around Diana and Emily, and I knew I was gonna miss them loads. I had to go back to reality at some point. This just gives me an excuse to go back!
I know I said that I didn't think I was gonna like anything better than the East Coast, but this experience completely changed my mind. It was beautiful over there. I love it equally, but differently.
I hope you guys enjoyed reading about my trip. Have a beautiful day/night.
