showing gratitude | june

Hey guys, with the exciting new from last week, I actually didn't make my usual gratitude post! I think that today was the perfect time to get to writing one. If you've noticed already, or maybe you haven't, I have been playing around a bit with the title. I've never been a big fan of it, so for the last two months, I've been switching the wording up a bit. I think this one might be the most simple, but the one I like the best? We'll see how I feel about it next month!

June was an amazing month full of tons of fun memories. I knew that this summer was going to be one of the best ones yet, but I didn't know how true this was going to be. Summer 2019 has been treating me more than well. So let's get right into it.

came back from my trip

I actually started my month, by enjoying my final day in Tampa, and flying back home. It was great, because while we were leaving vacation, we came back to beautiful warm weather.

I realized that while I always have fun on my vacations, I love coming back on Saturdays so I have an extra day to readjust myself and mentally prepare for work on Monday.

my 25th birthday

A few days after I got back from my trip, it was officially my birthday! Not just any birthday, a milestone of a birthday. I have finally turned 25. I have to say that over the last month, 25 has done nothing, but treat me fabulously.

I wrote a lot about my thoughts on turning 25, here. At the end of the day, all I can say is that I'm blessed to be alive and have reached 25. I've learned a lot, and can't wait to see how my life will continue.

staycation

In mid-June, one of my best friends came to visit me. The funny thing is that I met her through blogging two years ago, and since then we've talked continuously through text, over the phone, through voice notes & face time.

Around February/March, Melissa finally booked a trip to come and visit me! I took the week off to show her New York City, and some of my favorite places close to me. I had an amazing time re-getting to know the area so close to me. I have never actually taken a vacation close to home, so this was extremely different to me.

I had such an amazing time, and I will never forget this time we spent together. I already can't wait til the next time we hang out.

lost in aster launch party

You guys must know this by now, but I recently launch my online clothing store! The day before we officially launched the website, we had a mini launch party. It was lots of champagne, previews of our clothes, and website, and the amazing support of our friends and family.

I will always remember who was there to support me and my sister's new passion product. Thank you to those of you who were there every step of the way. You know who you are. I appreciate and love you so very much.

As I mentioned, the day after our launch party, we officially launched our website, and started promoting our clothes. It's been a huge work in progress, and I'm so proud of what we created.

This was my June in a nutshell. I definitely can't complain at all! I may have forgotten to mention the beautifully sunny days, the days of tanning and pool time, the barbecues, and other things that made my month amazing. Definitely feeling beyond blessed! How was your month? Let me know!
