Smile Brilliant CariPRO Toothbrush Review & Oral B Comparison
Hey everyone! Happy 2019 you guys, I hope you an amazing time celebrating it however you did so! I went to this club with my sister and some friends, and definitely had a great time. To start off the new year I thought I would start by talking about electric toothbrushes.
I was recently send over an electronic toothbrush to test out from Smile Brilliant. I was super excited to try it out! I’m going to outright and say that I actually have an Oral-B electric toothbrush already, so it was cool to have that experience with another toothbrush before trying out this one by Smile Brilliant! I’m going to outright say that I was extremely impressed with the one by Smile Brilliant. Today I’m going to review the Smile Brilliant toothbrush, while comparing it to the one I own by Oral B.
One thing people don’t know about electric toothbrushes, is how much better they are at cleaning teeth. Electric toothbrushes in general are 7x better at removing plaque than regular toothbrushes! They’re also better a whitening your teeth and removing stains! I literally tell everyone since I’ve started using an electric toothbrush that it’s like coming back from the dentist after a deep cleaning every single time I brush! Now I’m going to get right into the actual comparison!
Now we’re going to start off with pricing. The Smile Brilliant Toothbrush the same price the Oral-B toothbrush I own. The Smile Brilliant cariPro starts off at $119. This includes the charger, the toothbrush, and two brush heads. The Oral-B 7000 SmartSeries is $119.94 on Amazon, and it has a $20 off coupon at the moment. It includes the charger, the toothbrush, three brush heads, and a screen to keep track of the timer/brush settings/etc.
So while the pricing seems the same, it’s actually not. It comes down to the brush heads. On amazon you can get 3 Oral-B Default brush heads for $18, while the Smile Brilliant brush heads bring two for $13. This means that you’re getting the Oral-B brush heads for $6 a piece while you’re getting the Smile Brilliant for $6.50 a piece. If you get the bulk set of Smile Brilliant brush heads you get the 8 set for $43, which makes it $5.38 a piece, which is cheaper than the Oral-B brush heads.
Now, I’m going to talk about the design of both of them. The Oral-B toothbrush has a basic black/white toothbrush body, and seems extremely heavy duty. It’s also a bit heavier to hold. The CariPro naturally looks much nicer. It’s silver, gray, and this beautiful blue shade. In terms of the design of the toothbrush, I would definitely give it to Smile Brilliant’s CariPro.
Now I’ve been using the Oral-B for about 4-5 months now and have been using the CariPro for about a month, and I have finally say I’ve tested them both out enough. I’ll start off by saying that both brush heads are pretty different from each other. The CariPro has a regular manual toothbrush head, while the Oral-B has a rounded brush head. I don’t honestly know which one is better, I think it might come down to personal choice?
The way that the brush heads vibrate are different too. Because the CariPro has a normal looking brush head, it vibrates. I like it because it feels like it’s getting all the gunk in between my teeth! The Oral-B has a rotating vibrating, which I also like for the same reason. Which one is better? I like both of them! They both do a very good job of getting food out of my teeth, and making my mouth feel super clean and fresh. They both also have multiple settings in order to fulfill your toothbrush needs.
One thing that was way superior in the CariPRO was the battery life. I would say that the Oral-B can last 7-10 days brushing 2-3 times a day, but the CariPRO lasted easily 12 days without a single charge. For someone who travels a lot, that’s super good, because then you don’t technically have to bring your charger with you if you don’t want to!
They both have 30-second pulses, to let you know when to move onto the next quadrant of your mouth, which really helps you keep track of the 2 minutes (the recommended amount of time you should spend brushing your teeth)!
The one thing that I can tell you that I really like about the Oral-B verses the CariPRO is the fact that is makes sure that you’re not putting too much pressure on your teeth/gums. If you start to press too hard, it will light up red, and will stop brushing until you lighten up. This was especially good for me, because I was someone who pressed super hard when I was brushing on a manual toothbrush.
Now which one do I think it fundamentally better? I guess it depends what you want out of your toothbrush. If you want aesthetically pleasing, longer battery life, and more cost efficient in terms of brush heads, you should definitely go with the Cari-PRO. If you suffer with brushing too hard, and don’t really care about the extra cost of the brush heads, then you can definitely give the Oral-B a try!
I also have a lil’ gift for you! If you guys want to try the Cari-Pro for yourself, you can get 20% off at checkout using the code melinaelisa20
Do any of you guys use electric toothbrushes? Would you guys be open to trying one? Thank you as always for reading! I hope you have a wonderful day/night. Sending you love, strength, and positivity! xxx

Thank you for the review. I got an OralB for Christmas and everyone in the family loves using it (husband, myself and grown daughter). Our insurance company was offering the CariPro at a substantial discount so I ordered one of those for our daughter who doesn't live at home; plus we can use it when we visit. I wanted to make sure it was as user-friendly as the OralB. I benefit from the OralB's pause when I press too hard. My hygienist is going to love me!
Your welcome! I'm glad to hear that my review could help you 🙂 It's been quite a while since I've written this review, but I still am in love with my OralB toothbrush!
