The Start of My Bullet Journal Journey

When I used to be very active on my Tumblr account I took an interest in the Studyblr community. For those of you who don't know what that is, they are motivational blogs dedicated to helping people with their studies. These people created charts, calendars and a whole bunch of other stuff to keep them organized. One of the things I noticed that a lot of people in this community were using was bullet journals.

It was so fascinating. At the time I didn't know exactly what it was. I saw all these beautiful pages with different color schemes (I would recommend searching it on google!). As I continued looking through their posts, I noticed that people used them for different things, but the end result was to become more organized. From what I saw it was a planner, list organizer, journal, and basically anything else you wanted it to be!

I've always wanted to start one after seeing how fun and useful they could be, but I didn't know if I would dedicate the time necessary. Finally, last week I was watching a YouTube video about someone starting a bullet journal, and my sister loved the concept! She wanted to start one on her own, which motivated me to start my own. After over a year of wanting to start a bullet journal, I finally started my first few pages of it.

Most people use the Leuchtturm1917, but I found it so expensive, especially if I didn't know if I was going to keep up with it, so I got the Muji A5 Dotted notebook for $7. I really like the fact that it has this little pocket in the front to hold some of the pens I like to use.

As you can see from my Index, I don't have many pages filled out yet. More to come!
