The Start of my Workout Journey
About a month and a half ago, I started working out. I was extremely motivated to try and get the Summer body I've always wanted. I watched a whole bunch of YouTube videos to keep me motivated and find out ways to successfully keep a routine. This one girl, which sadly I don't remember who it was, mentioned this amazing app that Nike created! It's called the Nike Training App. She mentioned it was free, so I decided to check it out.
I actually really like it! You start the app by taking a quiz. It asks you things like "how often do you work out", "what kinds of workouts do you enjoy" and stuff like that. Then they give you a personalized workout routine for the next 4-5 weeks! At the end of every workout they ask you where you decided to work out and how difficult it was. From what you answer, they modify the workout plan.
Since then, I've been going for hikes, walking my dog more often, and using YouTube and the Nike Training app in order to work out. The one difference I've noticed is I've seen an increase of stamina! My campus is full of mountains, and whenever I walk up this huge flight of stairs, I always end up extremely out of breath. Recently, I walk all the way to class without feeling super exhausted!
This might not seem like a big change, but baby steps. I'll keep you guys updated and let you guys know how I'm doing! Trying to get that summer body. Have a wonderful day/night!
