Things I Can't Live Without!

Hey guys! How are you guys enjoying the first few weeks of Fall? I'm telling you that I absolutely love it. I have taken out all of my fall/winter clothing and have been putting away my summer clothes finally. It always takes me forever to take that extra step and put my off season clothing away.

Today we're going to be talking about things I can't live without. Now none of these things are actual necessities. All of the things that are going to be mentioned are just things that I need in my life after the basic necessities.

Music

Now this should be a given. Music brightens my day. When I'm at work, it makes my day go by quicker. It helps me concentrate. It literally does so much for my life. It can motivate me, make me happier, make me feel edgy, etc. It has such an impact on my mood. I listen to music on a daily basis, and I don't know what I would do without it. Books

This is another one that should seem obvious to you that have been following me for a while or just know me in general. I need books. It's the escape from reality that I need. I literally have two escapes from reality. Traveling, which I can't do as often as I'd like, and books. My favorite genre's are thrillers, romances, action, self-improvement, YAL, self-discovery, mangas, fantasy, sci-fi, and fiction in general. If it's written in a way that sucks me in, I will try to read anything.

My Phone

I know, I know. There are three reasons I love my phone. The one is for texting purposes. I love keeping in touch with friends that I don't have the chance to see or talk to on a regular basis. The second reason is for influencer purposes. I like to be able to check my emails and social medias as often as I possibly can. The third reason, which might not seem so obvious is the point that I have GAD. I get randomly anxious and the one way that really helps me is having my phone. Even if I don't use it, I like to fidget with it. I press the buttons, look at the clock, etc. I also have a lot of games that calm me down. Some games are just for entertainment purposes, but I have some games that I keep on my phone because they really help me not concentrate on any anxious feelings.

Makeup

This is a huge passion of mine. I love everything about makeup, from buying it to putting it on, to reading reviews and posts on it, to watching videos on YouTube about it. It's not something I feel like I need to wear on a daily basis, but genuinely love doing my makeup for fun!

Traveling

Last but not least, traveling. As I mentioned before, my two main escapes from reality are books and traveling. I love traveling, and spend as much time as realistically possible doing. Even if it's just for a night or a weekend, I love getting to know a new area and adventuring out. It is genuinely my happy place. If I am traveling, you already know that I'm happy. What makes traveling even better, is traveling with those you love! I can't wait to tell you guys all about the trip I'm planning next!
