Things I was Grateful for in September |2018

Hello guys! As I'm writing this, I am in the beautiful country of Dominican Republic. I was here earlier this year, and since I had such an amazing time, I'm back again! I leave here on Thursday, and as always time has flown by.

September was a really fun filled month for me, and I honestly can't believe it's October already! There's only three more months of the year left, and then it's going to be 2019. I honestly can't believe it!

Also, have you guys noticed I officially changed the way I schedule my posts now? I now post on Tuesdays and Fridays! I think there's now a more even amount of days before each posts, and it honestly just works better for me.

Now onto the actual  post:

I went to a Wedding!

I went to my first wedding in a very  long time.  The ceremony was beautiful, and the groom (& my coworker), seemed beyond happy. I wish him the best of luck and to his new wife!

Hoboken, NJ with my brother + friends!

So I go to Hoboken all the time with friends. It's a city right across from NYC, on the other side of the Hudson River! I love going there because they have a whole bunch of Bars and Restaurants. I went to hit up the bars in Hoboken with my brother, his girlfriend (Laura), my friend Jamie, and my friend(Erin) who visited me all the way from Virginia! I had such a great time, and even met up with one of my best friends, Erika, later on through the night.

It's so nice to have memorable nights out with friends where you just get to dance the whole night away.

Final Beach Day

The following night after Hoboken, I hit up Asbury Park Beach, Nj with my sister, her boyfriend, and my brother's girlfriend. It was supposed to rain that day, and instead the sun was up in the sky, and I was so happy about that. It was an amazing last beach day, and one I will remember for years to come.

Brunch in NYC

So I've been keeping this under the dark for a very long time now, but it's time I share with you guys, I'm seeing someone. We've been seeing each other for a few months now, and September was his birthday month! We spent the whole weekend celebrating, and one of the days was to go to brunch in NYC with a few of his friends. The location was nice, they had bottomless drinks, where you can never go wrong with that, and I had a blast.

His friends were so nice to me, and extremely welcoming, which was amazing. You guys know I have the worst anxiety, and for them to treat me with nothing but kindness was beyond amazing.

Karaoke

The same day that I went to brunch, I have tried I had never tried before....Karaoke (I know there was actually no suspense if you just read the title above). It was something that I have never done, and while I didn't actually sing on my own, his friends were more than happy to sing with me at the mic so I didn't feel as nervous.

I honestly can't wait to try Karaoke again, and maybe I'll have the guts to actually just sing at the mic alone!
