What to do in NYC Pt 2!

I knew from the instant I wrote the first one, I wanted to make this the NYC series. There's so much to do in NYC, that I knew that this post can go on for almost forever.

If you didn't read the first part in the series you can read it below:

What to do in NYC!

Grand Central Station

This is a place that has been in so many countless movies and television shows, that it would be a crime to not put this on the list. Sometimes I'm in awe of all the people coming and going. I could people watch for ages here. This isn't somewhere that takes a lot of time out of your day, but you can get some amazing shots of.

Cat Cafe

Last spring, I went to my first cat cafe. It was such a cute experience. They have all kinds of pastries you can think of. They also have smoothies and coffee too! You pay per hour. The money goes to taking care of the cats. All the cats at the cafe are rescue animals that are available for adoption! It's a cute experience, and something I've never done before. (Just make sure you're not allergic to cats, like I am)

There are three locations that you can check out:

Now I didn't want to only give the love to the cats (I amΒ actually more of a dog person), and this past December, they created a Dog Cafe. No, the dogs don't actually stay there, but they do host adoption events, and if you need a lil' dog loving, this is the place to go. You can stop by, grab a quick meal, and have a coffee or beer. If you want to check out Borris and Horton, you should definitely stop by if you have the time!

I think I'm going to end the post here! What do you think of these locations? Have you ever been to any of them? Let me know in the comments below! As always, thank you for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day/night. Sending you love, strength, and positivity!

Love this series! I would check out grand central station if I ever visit. I probably wouldn't do the cat cafe just because we have one here but I would definitely check out the dog cafe!

A dog cafe!! How did I NOT know about this when I went to New York? I did all the traditional things when I went but there's actually so much you can get up to.

I brought my friend a '1000 things to do in New York' book for her birthday as she was returning there and it was really eye opening how much there is to do that isn't your standard sightseeing.

I'll definitely bare these in mind as me and my boyfriend are looking to return to NYC next year! Thanks Melina! πŸ™‚
