Winter Break Trip to Orlando, Florida Pt. 2!

Now The day after Me and Melissa went to Magic Kingdom, my sister decided to join us and go to Universal Studios and Island Adventures with us. On the first day we went there we started in Island of Adventures. It was so crowded in the park that there was a line just to get into Hogsmeade. We waited about an hour, and then at last we got in.

All I can say about my first impression, is that it was literally a dream come true. Probably one of the best days of my life. The soundtrack music in the background, the stores, the trolleys selling butter beer and gilly water. Everything was simply amazing. The first thing we did once we were there was eat at the Three Broomsticks. The food was amazing. They served actual pub food. I had some ribs, chicken, corn, and potatoes.

We then went on the ride "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey". Just the line to get onto the ride was amazing. They paid so much attention to detail. From the talking portraits, to Dumbledore's office, to the sorting hat. I'm telling you this ride was so cool. Now the ride itself gave me a little bit of motion sickness but was a great experience anyways. After the ride we spend most of our time going through each of the shops.

Once we were done with the shops, we took the train to King's Cross Station. The ride there is so interesting, and I truly recommend that you take the train both ways since it's different.

Now the cool things about King's Cross Station, is that when you get there you have to look for Diagon Alley. Its not right there.

After finding Diagon Alley, I have to say that, yet again I was amazed. It was huge. There were so many stores and things to do. It was getting late, and before we left we went to Olivander's and bought a wand.

So the following day, we started off in Universal Studios. Which meant that we started in Diagon Alley. We first went to the Gringotts ride. The line for this ride was also amazing. It will never cease to amaze me, they put so much attention to detail. I have to say out of all of the Harry Potter rides, this one by far is my favorite. Now the Gringotts ride isn't the same thing as the Gringotts store. A few doors down you can actually exchange your muggle money for wizarding money. This time around we went to all of the stores.

After Gringotts, we went to eat in the Leaky Cauldron. Like the three broomsticks, the Leaky Cauldron also has really yummy pub food. Above I have a picture of the beef and lamb stew in a bread bowl. It was so delicious and really recommend!

After going to the shops, me and Melissa brought our wands to use them in the park. For those of you who don't know, there are two types of wands sold in Universal. Interactive wands and non-interactive wands. Now the interactive wands come with a map, where you can use magic throughout Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. I would highly recommend getting the interactive one if you are a huge harry potter fan.

After we were done in Diagon Alley, we decided to take the train from Kings Cross Station to Hogsmeade. As mentioned before, the trip is different from the ride going to Hogsmeade. When he arrived, we went to a few more shops, and went on the Hippogriff Ride. I have to say these two days at Universal were probably some of the best days of my life thus far.

Stay tuned for more about my life next week!
